About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive new owner-direct business development through prospecting and territory mapping
- Build and maintain relationships with building owners, facility managers, and industrial operators
- Manage a personal book of business focusing on renewals and customer retention
- Conduct site visits and assessments to identify service and retrofit needs
- Develop scopes and collaborate with Operations and Estimating for accurate pricing
- Prepare and deliver proposals for maintenance agreements and equipment replacements
- Maintain disciplined CRM usage for activity tracking and forecasting
- Partner cross-functionally with Service, Project Management, and Purchasing
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of outside B2B sales experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Ability to understand mechanical systems and translate technical concepts into business value
- High discipline in CRM usage and pipeline management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory
