About the Company

Nectar Social is building the AI-native social operating system that enables a new era of commerce. Founded by ex-Meta product and engineering leaders and backed by GV and True Ventures, we work with brands like Oura Health, Caraway, and e.l.f. Cosmetics to converge community, conversation, and commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for mid-market accounts from initial outreach through negotiation and close
  • Manage a high-velocity pipeline across consumer brands in beauty, CPG, e-commerce, DTC, and lifestyle
  • Run compelling product demos that translate customer challenges into clear, AI-powered solutions
  • Partner with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and strong post-sale adoption
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and drive upsell conversations
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and generate pipeline
  • Contribute to building and refining the sales playbook as the team scales

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of SaaS sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience selling into consumer brands across e-commerce, beauty, CPG, retail, or similar industries
  • Ability to manage fast-moving deal cycles with strong prioritization and urgency
  • Comfort engaging with stakeholders across marketing, social, and digital teams
  • Strong discovery, demo, and closing skills with a consultative sales approach
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a startup environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a high-growth Series A or Series B startup
  • Background in social media, influencer marketing, or marketing technology
  • Familiarity with AI-native tools and workflows
  • Existing network within mid-market consumer brands
  • Experience selling into marketing or social media teams
