Account Executive National Chains

Responsibilities

• Service and support chain accounts and spas by developing long-term relationships with owners, managers, and stylists
• Identify prospective customers through business directories, client leads, trade shows, and conferences
• Demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders from regular and prospective customers
• Provide product information, pricing, availability, and samples to customers
• Prepare estimates, bids, price quotes, and contract terms to meet specific customer needs
• Support sales through education, promotional events, and merchandising
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity
• Manage paperwork regarding quotas, incentives, and customer incentive programs

Requirements

• 2-3 years of previous outside sales experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for considerable driving
• Ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel and occasional weekends/evenings
• Proximity to a major airport is mandatory
• Computer literacy, preferably with Windows-based programs
• Strong math skills for forecasting and goal achievement
• Strong communication and people skills with the ability to teach classes to groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Cosmetology license
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing
