Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Own and execute a new business sales strategy for the mid-market segment across the Chinese market
• Identify, qualify, and close net-new customer opportunities
• Proactively prospect and engage senior stakeholders within manufacturing organisations
• Lead the full sales cycle including discovery, solution positioning, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new logo opportunities and maintain CRM hygiene
• Work with internal pre-sales, marketing, and services teams in a virtual team-selling environment
• Gather and share competitive and market intelligence
• Represent Minitab at customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements

Requirements

• Proven hunter mentality with a proactive, self-starting approach
• Strong experience selling B2B software or technology solutions into the manufacturing industry
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory
• Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 60%) across the region
• Confident engaging with executive, technical, and business stakeholders
• Consultative selling approach with strong negotiation skills
• Fluent Mandarin (native or business-native level)
• Excellent English communication skills
• 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in technology, analytics, or enterprise software
• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Experience managing mid-market accounts

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to business intelligence, analytics, or statistical software
