About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by owning the entire deal cycle from prospecting to close for mid-market companies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and use cases through research and strategic territory planning.
  • Leverage sales methodologies to uncover customer pain points and articulate Airwallex's value proposition.
  • Build and manage a reliable sales pipeline while defining best practices for the US sales team.
  • Provide regular reporting against KPIs and manage territory forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with product, strategy, and engineering teams to relay customer feedback.

Requirements

  • 5 years of quota-carrying direct SaaS sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • Proven track record of closing 10-15 deals annually with a target ACV of $100k.
  • Expertise in outbound prospecting and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Consultative sales approach with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • High adaptability to the fast-paced environment of a growing startup.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of experience specifically within payments or spend management software.
  • Established client and technical partner network within the US mid-market segment.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and finance decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with mid-market ERP software such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or Xero.
