Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Prospect and identify potential new logos through cold outreach, networking, and industry events
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects seeking advanced BI solutions
• Engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs
• Present and demonstrate the value of BI software through tailored sales pitches
• Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing
• Achieve or exceed sales targets by securing deals with high-potential clients
• Collaborate with sales engineering and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics using CRM software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of successful sales experience in BI software, data analytics, or related technology
• Proven hunter mentality with a track record of generating and closing new business
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and drive

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud, Mobile, Big Data, Hadoop, or Social Media technologies
