About the role

Responsibilities

  • Sell Business Intelligence software products and services to new and existing clients
  • Prospect, identify, and properly qualify new business opportunities
  • Present business solutions at the executive level and lead negotiations to close deals
  • Manage complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to meet customer requirements
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and maintain detailed sales cycle reporting
  • Leverage partner relationships to drive additional value and revenue

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise technology sales
  • Proven experience selling Analytics or Business Intelligence software
  • Experience with value-based enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling)
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce to track sales activity
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Cloud, Mobile, Big Data, Hadoop, or Social Media technologies
  • Strong background in new account development or large account management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
