About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, service, and maintain a base of local clients and agencies to achieve annual sales goals.
- Analyze, develop, and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities.
- Prospect for new customers by following planned sales strategies and tactics.
- Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local advertising revenue.
- Coordinate with internal departments to manage client requirements, including advertising schedules and collections.
- Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in sales forecasting.
- Complete required documentation for contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and a variable schedule as necessary.
- Strong communication, marketing, and sales skills.
