Account Executive Marine

Responsibilities

• Analyze risks and evaluate insurance needs to facilitate market placement
• Negotiate with underwriters to secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients
• Present insurance solutions and terms to prospects and existing clients
• Manage and retain the existing client portfolio through regular follow-ups and visits
• Handle insurance documentation, including certificates, policy wording, and endorsements
• Support the claims department with policy interpretation and wording queries
• Assist in the development of the existing portfolio and the acquisition of new clients
• Provide expertise in risk mitigation and loss prevention for clients
• Analyze contractual documents, such as transport and logistics service agreements

Requirements

• Previous experience in Insurance Brokerage, Carriers, or Logistics operators
• Specialized expertise in Marine Cargo and Liability (General Liability, Carrier Liability, etc.)
• University degree
• English language proficiency at B2 or C1 level
• Strong analytical and innovative skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and plan time effectively
• Proficiency in IT systems and digital processes
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
