About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the full capital sales cycle for robotic surgical technology, including lead generation, negotiation, and contract execution for deals exceeding $800,000
- Lead cross-functional teams through pre-sale and post-sale processes, including installation and customer training
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons and healthcare executives to drive repeat business
- Build and maintain a robust sales funnel to meet or exceed annual quotas
- Navigate complex budgeted and off-budget purchasing processes within healthcare institutions
- Utilize financing and leasing solutions to support customer purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with marketing and sales management to develop go-to-market strategies
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and sales meetings
Requirements
- 5+ years in an outside sales position (medical or B2B sales preferred) OR a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2+ years of outside sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to interact credibly with surgeons and allied healthcare professionals
- Proven experience in executive selling (engaging with hospital CEOs, CFOs, and COOs)
- Ability to translate clinical product benefits into economic value for healthcare providers
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large territory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Background in surgical orthopedics
- Experience introducing disruptive or breakthrough technologies to the market
