Responsibilities

  • Own a book of named Major Accounts, driving renewals, upsells, and cross-sells to grow account value
  • Identify and execute expansion opportunities across your portfolio by mapping whitespace and uncovering new use cases
  • Build and maintain multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product, procurement, and the C-suite
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer business goals
  • Translate Vercel's platform into board-level narratives around developer velocity and AI-driven transformation
  • Own complex commercial negotiations including renewals, ELA amendments, and consumption-based expansions
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product to deliver customer outcomes

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years in enterprise SaaS with success in install base or account management
  • Proven ability to drive expansion and build champions across multiple buying centres
  • Experience in partner-influenced or co-sell motions with hyperscalers or SIs
  • Ability to discuss architecture with CTOs and ROI with CFOs
  • Proficiency in MEDDPICC and rigorous forecast hygiene
  • Ability to hold technically grounded conversations with engineering leadership
  • Value-based selling approach focused on business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in web development, developer tooling, cloud platforms, or AI/ML
  • Existing relationships at AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience navigating ELAs and consumption-based commercial models
  • Experience managing accounts in media, retail, or financial services
  • Understanding of PLG-influenced sales motions
