About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire renewal process for existing accounts, including policy review, loss analysis, and program design
- Support winning new business and managing the setup of new client accounts
- Maintain intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers
- Craft marketing strategies, review submissions, and negotiate with underwriters
- Manage a book of business ranging from $900k to $2 million in revenue
- Play a lead role on three or more large or complex client accounts
- Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders and clients
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience within the insurance industry
- At least 2 years of experience in an Account Executive or equivalent role
- Proficiency with MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to lead and develop people while delegating effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of at least one general insurance designation
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in construction, real estate, or health services verticals
- Experience working within Applied Epic
