About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire renewal process for existing accounts, including policy review, loss analysis, and program design
  • Support winning new business and managing the setup of new client accounts
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers
  • Craft marketing strategies, review submissions, and negotiate with underwriters
  • Manage a book of business ranging from $900k to $2 million in revenue
  • Play a lead role on three or more large or complex client accounts
  • Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders and clients

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience within the insurance industry
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Account Executive or equivalent role
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to lead and develop people while delegating effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of at least one general insurance designation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in construction, real estate, or health services verticals
  • Experience working within Applied Epic
