Account Executive III (Farmer)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end success for a portfolio of complex, multi-modal Flexport accounts in North America.
• Lead RFP bids and renewals end-to-end to ensure client retention and growth.
• Serve as a strategic partner to clients by identifying efficiencies and cost-reduction opportunities within their supply chain.
• Lead high-impact business reviews (QBRs/MBRs) providing market context and multi-modal insights.
• Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Flexport's full product suite to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Procurement, and Product teams to solve complex client challenges.
• Mentor and coach junior Account Executive teammates by sharing playbooks and guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or a similar client-facing role.
• Proven track record of managing and growing a complex, multi-product book of business.
• Deep understanding of global trade and supply chain operations across ocean, air, trucking, and customs.
• Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify and close growth opportunities.
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous situations and develop processes for others.
• A "compliance first" mindset regarding industry regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in logistics, supply chain, or SaaS industries.
