About the role

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for FMI’s product portfolio
  • Create and execute business and account plans to drive sales growth and customer acquisition
  • Navigate customer accounts to identify key stakeholders, including C-suite, oncologists, and pathologists
  • Identify market trends through data analytics to enhance customer experience and plan long-term opportunities
  • Educate customers on reimbursement and billing services at the local level
  • Conduct thorough customer analysis using tools like Salesforce.com and Power BI
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and customized communication plans
  • Travel within the assigned territory and to company meetings, with a commitment to travel up to 90% of the time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of direct selling experience in diagnostics or life sciences, specifically focusing on the hospital and physician office lab market
  • Proven history of successful sales performance and achieving sales plans
  • Must reside within 50 miles of the defined territory workload center
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of direct selling experience in diagnostics or life sciences
  • Experience in oncology and/or molecular diagnostics
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrated track record of success selling oncology-based tests to medical oncology, urology, or pathology
  • Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
