About the Company
Harper is an AI-native commercial insurance company in San Francisco. We're rebuilding the entire business as software, turning expert human judgment into compute to transform a trillion-dollar industry.
Responsibilities
- Close SMB deals at high volume, making 100+ calls a day to small business owners
- Use Harper's AI tools to prep, qualify, and follow up with prospects
- Maintain high conversion rates and quality while operating at scale
- Expand sales efforts across new insurance product lines as they are added
- Document successful sales tactics, objections, and processes to help train company AI models
Requirements
- Proven track record of high-velocity SMB sales
- Ability to maintain high performance during high-volume call days (100+ calls)
- Comfortable being measured strictly on revenue and closed policies
- Ability to obtain a commercial insurance producer license within approximately 30 days
- Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco with long hours (approx. 5am–7pm)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder or operator
- Strong ability to earn trust quickly with small business owners
- Proficiency in using AI tools as leverage for sales productivity
