Cradle offers a software platform for AI-guided discovery and optimization of proteins, enabling biologists to design proteins faster and at scale. The company serves clients across biopharma, biotech, agri-tech, food-tech, and academia.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development across the global biotech and biopharma landscape to close high-value enterprise deals
- Own strategic accounts with a focus on large global players to deliver millions in annually recurring revenue
- Partner cross-functionally with product, ML, engineering, and customer success teams to shape proposals
- Act as the voice of the market by surfacing customer feedback to inform product direction
- Build a personal brand in the biotech and AI-for-science space through global events and executive engagement
- Improve sales playbooks, processes, and materials to scale enterprise sales
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., structural/molecular biology, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemical engineering) or equivalent R&D experience
- 5+ years in B2B sales, ideally SaaS, with a proven track record of exceeding quota
- Ability to navigate highly technical topics and translate them into business value for R&D stakeholders
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong business network across biotech/pharma on the East Coast US
- Domain knowledge in machine learning or its applications in life sciences
- Prior experience at a B2B growth-stage startup
- Prior experience as a bioinformatician or wet lab scientist in industrial or academic settings
