Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face calls at agencies and clients to present and close media agreements
• Develop customized action plans by matching BTN programming with client objectives across TV and digital platforms
• Maintain strong client and agency relationships through regular meetings and professional entertainment functions
• Utilize negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing for BTN television, digital, and social media inventory
• Collaborate with Sales Planners to track accounts, minimize issues, and develop post-sale materials
• Stay current on sports industry trends and programming to deliver maximum value to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of five years of media sales experience at a network or media company
• Proven expertise selling both digital and television inventory
• Comprehensive understanding of how integrated digital and traditional media platforms are planned and delivered
• Strong competency in media math and negotiation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for one-on-one and group presentations
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Willingness to travel out of state and work occasional evenings or weekends
