About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and close new Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) opportunities through service agreements, alarm monitoring, and maintenance contracts
- Identify and pursue recurring revenue opportunities within existing customer accounts and new commercial prospects
- Convert completed installation projects into ongoing service and maintenance relationships
- Proactively engage customers approaching warranty expiration to secure preventive maintenance agreements
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to support account retention
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and contract structures aligned with customer needs
- Maintain an active pipeline of RMR opportunities and track sales activity
- Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure smooth onboarding of sold agreements
- Identify and pursue upsell opportunities including system upgrades and expanded coverage
- Meet or exceed company-defined monthly and annual recurring revenue targets
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in commercial security or fire protection
- Knowledge of manufacturer products such as Bosch, Brivo, Eagle Eye, Exacq, S2, Schlage Engage, or Edwards EST
- Strong understanding of recurring revenue sales models
- Excellent time management, pipeline management, and prioritization skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Eligibility to obtain a PERC card from the State of Illinois
