About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development through customer engagement, cold outreach, and field visits
- Identify and secure negotiated sales opportunities, including design-build projects
- Conduct site visits, field surveys, and needs assessments to qualify leads
- Prepare detailed scopes of work and proposals
- Collaborate with presales engineering teams to ensure solution accuracy
- Manage a personal sales pipeline and maintain documentation in HubSpot CRM
- Oversee and renew recurring service agreements for monitoring and maintenance
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Proven B2B/outside sales experience in security, access control, or low-voltage systems
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to conduct site visits and field surveys
- Willingness to perform proactive cold calling and outreach
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
