About the role

Responsibilities

  • Convert qualified prospects into new clients
  • Prospect and qualify new leads and manage target databases
  • Conduct needs analysis meetings and produce presentations for new business pitches
  • Prepare new business proposals and work with agency leadership to develop them
  • Provide post-sale support to Accounts and Production teams, including leading kickoff meetings
  • Research and pursue sales and networking opportunities to grow the client base
  • Attend networking events, seminars, and expos to promote the company
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year, accredited college
  • 2+ years of account executive or sales experience, preferably with an agency
  • Proven success in developing new business and managing complex sales cycles
  • Track record of penetrating large corporate accounts and exceeding quotas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel locally and out of town occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of direct sales experience
  • Experience in advertising or professional services sales
  • Existing executive-level contacts in Real Estate, Automotive, Healthcare, Legal, or Apartment Services
  • Experience with digital marketing services like SEO, PPC, Social Media, and Web Design
  • Familiarity with website analytics software such as Google Analytics or Google AdWords
