About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to demo and closing
  • Run consultative discovery to diagnose business problems and map them to outcomes
  • Build trust with owner-operators through fast follow-through and zero BS
  • Move deals through tight sales cycles by calibrating to skeptical SMB buyers
  • Utilize AI tools like Claude and Outreach to enhance workflow and personalization
  • Provide field intelligence to product and marketing teams to shape company positioning

Requirements

  • 5+ years of closing experience in SaaS or AI-native software
  • Experience as an early AE at a Series A or B startup
  • Direct experience selling to SMB or local professional services (law, dental, HVAC, etc.)
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to run deep discovery
  • Proficiency with modern sales stacks including HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to work onsite in the New York City office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling marketing software, ad tech, or pipeline-to-revenue tools
  • Existing network of law firm owners or local services operators
  • Experience handling agency replacement deals
  • Experience working closely with founders in the sales motion

Benefits

  • Base salary of $130,000 - $150,000 with $260k+ OTE
