About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and territory on a quarterly and annual basis
- Develop sales strategies and regional sales plans with target prospect lists
- Partner with marketing teams to develop revenue growth plans
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps to drive Snowflake solutions
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams
- Arrange and conduct Executive and CxO positioning meetings
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting to opportunity closure
- Perform ongoing account management to ensure satisfaction and drive expansion
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology
- 3+ years of experience generating new business within Energy & Utilities enterprise accounts
- Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships
- Track record of pipeline development and quota achievement
- Strong presentation, listening, and relationship management skills
- Ability to understand business drivers around IT
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing MEDDPICC
- Experience selling software or cloud-based applications to the Enterprise
