About the role

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and territory on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Develop sales strategies and regional sales plans with target prospect lists
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop revenue growth plans
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps to drive Snowflake solutions
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams
  • Arrange and conduct Executive and CxO positioning meetings
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting to opportunity closure
  • Perform ongoing account management to ensure satisfaction and drive expansion

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology
  • 3+ years of experience generating new business within Energy & Utilities enterprise accounts
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships
  • Track record of pipeline development and quota achievement
  • Strong presentation, listening, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to understand business drivers around IT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing MEDDPICC
  • Experience selling software or cloud-based applications to the Enterprise
