Account Executive - Employee Benefits

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day account operations for an assigned group of employee benefits clients
• Lead strategic consultation and planning to ensure benefit programs align with regulatory requirements and business goals
• Direct the renewal process, including negotiating rates and recommending carrier changes or alternative funding
• Develop and deliver client communications and presentations regarding benefits legislation, compliance, and industry trends
• Coordinate annual open enrollment meetings and provide technological support for employee presentations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors to support client advocacy
• Oversee service teams regarding project management, claims escalation, and resolution

Requirements

• Florida 2-15 Life & Health License
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 to 7 years of relevant agency experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced proficiency with the MS Office Suite
• Strong business acumen and ability to execute strategy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
