Account Executive - Ecommerce

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for the ecommerce proposition, from prospecting and outreach to onboarding and the first live transaction
• Convert the existing waitlist of interested businesses into active customers
• Build and manage a robust pipeline in Salesforce with accurate forecasting and staging
• Conduct discovery calls with merchants to understand payment flows, platform setups, and currency needs
• Partner directly with the product team to shape the go-to-market strategy and roadmap
• Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering regarding market traction and product gaps
• Identify and test outbound approaches to high-potential verticals like retail and trade
• Help define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), sales processes, and competitive positioning

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within ecommerce, payments, or fintech
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce from a payments integration perspective
• Strong understanding of the ecommerce payments landscape and key players (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, PayPal)
• Proven experience with outbound prospecting and proactive pipeline generation
• Experience working cross-functionally with product teams to influence strategy
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, "zero-to-one" environment where you build structure as you go
