About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve business objectives for the assigned territory, including product and service penetration.
- Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, and plan customer meetings to demonstrate equipment capabilities.
- Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans to meet business goals and budgets.
- Build and cultivate long-term relationships with key management within customer organizations.
- Communicate market intelligence to decision-makers within each account.
- Assist management in devising sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and operating plans.
- Lead territory team reviews and update account plans based on market and competitive activity.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of capital equipment sales experience, preferably to hospitals or imaging centers.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding large sales quotas.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and developing accurate forecasts.
- Ability to travel daily within the assigned NY Metro territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience selling diagnostic imaging equipment.
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare sales role.
- Professional sales training such as SPIN Selling, Strategic Selling, or Miller-Heiman.
