Account Executive - Construction

Responsibilities

• Assist senior brokers with the day-to-day servicing of a client portfolio, ensuring risk management and insurance needs are met
• Prepare accurate client documentation, including renewal questionnaires, reports, quote slips, placing slips, and client manuals
• Support senior brokers in managing large-scale insurance and risk management programs for major projects
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with insurers, clients, and key internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client data within company systems and databases
• Liaise with the claims team and insurance assessors to respond to client enquiries
• Manage workflow, diary systems, and debtor collections in accordance with terms of trade
• Contribute to team growth and new business targets while maintaining regulatory compliance

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in a relevant insurance, broking, or risk-related role
• Strong knowledge of general insurance
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and correspondence
• Ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
• ASIC RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance (or willingness to undertake training)
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance and a focus on accuracy

• A background in the construction industry
