About the role
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and close a personal pipeline of companies to drive dbt Cloud adoption
- Manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint within existing commercial accounts
- Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to expand regional reach
- Lead and contribute to internal projects aimed at developing and refining sales processes
- Collaborate with the product team to help maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
Requirements
- 2+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into consultative sales
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills for engaging stakeholders from developers to CTOs
- Strong organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple teams
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
- Experience with SQL or a strong willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software
- Direct knowledge of or experience using dbt
- Previous experience selling into the Nordics market
