Responsibilities

  • Win new business and drive revenue for Cursor by owning the full sales cycle from first call to close
  • Become a trusted product expert to guide prospects through trials, evaluations, and rollouts
  • Build and manage a healthy high velocity pipeline, meeting and exceeding quarterly targets
  • Lead multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, and Legal
  • Develop executive relationships and day-to-day champions within each account
  • Quantify value with clear ROI cases tied to developer productivity and AI adoption
  • Design and execute innovative sales strategies and analyze market trends
  • Act as the voice of the customer to influence the product roadmap

Requirements

  • 3+ years of closing experience in tech sales, ideally selling developer tools or technical SaaS
  • Consistent track record of landing new logos and exceeding quota
  • Proactive hunter mentality with experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and sell to technical stakeholders from ICs to CTOs
  • Analytical approach to understanding customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills to build trust across all levels of an organization
  • Passion for AI and transforming software development
