About the role

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within mid-market companies.
  • Creatively source new prospects and position Rapid7's security offerings to meet specific client needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and industry expert to clients in your assigned geography.
  • Manage upsell opportunities and drive account growth within your territory.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity, forecasting, and opportunity data within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of B2B closing experience.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue through prospecting and new business creation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a sense of urgency in serving clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for client meetings as needed.
