About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve business objectives for the assigned territory, including product and service penetration.
- Uncover new opportunities, generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
- Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans to meet business goals and budgets.
- Build and cultivate long-term relationships with key management to serve as a trusted advisor.
- Communicate market intelligence to decision-makers within each account.
- Assist management in devising sales plans, forecasts, and operating plans for product sales channels.
- Identify areas for market expansion within the assigned portfolio and territory.
Requirements
- BS/BA in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3+ years of capital equipment sales experience, preferably to hospitals or imaging centers.
- Proven experience managing large quotas and navigating long sales cycles.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals and forecasting.
- Ability to travel approximately 75%.
- Must have a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience selling diagnostic imaging equipment (Angiography).
- 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the healthcare field.
- Professional sales training in methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Strategic Selling, or Miller-Heiman.
