Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day execution across multiple client accounts while partnering with account leads
• Develop creative story ideas, editorial calendars, and proactive media opportunities
• Conduct earned media outreach and build relationships with reporters to secure high-impact coverage
• Monitor the news cycle to identify timely opportunities for client insertion
• Draft high-quality client materials including media pitches, press releases, and briefing documents
• Conduct media research and analysis to inform communications strategies
• Manage account workflow, timelines, and client deliverables
• Support client meetings by preparing agendas and capturing meeting notes

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in public relations, media relations, strategic communications, or journalism
• Demonstrated success in executing earned media campaigns and pitching reporters
• Strong writing and storytelling skills for creating press materials and briefing documents
• Excellent media instincts and ability to identify emerging trends
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset and strong verbal/written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Agency experience
• Experience working with technology or sports clients
