Backflip is a venture-backed FinTech committed to becoming the leader in residential real estate investment financing. Their vision is to modernize real estate investing by connecting entrepreneurs with sophisticated capital through products like fix and flip financing, single family rental loans, and new construction.

Responsibilities

• Drive origination volume by managing the sales process from initial prospecting through term sheet execution
• Execute a high-velocity outbound sales strategy using calls, emails, text, social media, and in-person events
• Develop expertise in capital products and credit parameters to ensure high-quality borrowers
• Manage and forecast pipeline and conversion rates using HubSpot CRM
• Partner with Loan Operations and Servicing to ensure a best-in-class borrower experience
• Provide market-driven insights to leadership to refine product-market fit and pricing
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role
• Emphasis on outbound prospecting
• Direct experience originating loan products (e.g., hard money, fix-and-flip, DSCR)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency managing pipelines in modern CRMs like HubSpot

Preferred Qualifications

• Personal or professional experience as a real estate investor
• Existing network of real estate investors, brokers, or industry partners
• Experience selling home equity products (HEI, HELOCs)
