About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute Aivar's North America sales strategy, refining tactics and optimizing performance based on market feedback.
  • Leverage AWS Startup team relationships and co-sell motions to generate qualified pipeline.
  • Hunt and close net new logos across the startup ecosystem using venture partner networks and hyperscaler relationships.
  • Own the full sales cycle for early-stage startups requiring rapid AI product development.
  • Identify and activate new channel partners, venture firms, and ecosystem players to create repeatable pipeline.
  • Build relationships with startup founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders.
  • Represent Aivar at AWS Startup events, demo days, and accelerator programs.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of B2B sales experience selling to startups or within the AWS Partner/Startup ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in early-stage sales environments and high-growth 0-1 settings.
  • Deep, active relationships within the AWS Startup ecosystem and understanding of hyperscaler GTM motions.
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions or services to engineering leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and operate independently with limited structure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within North America to build relationships and close deals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working directly at AWS within the Startup or Partner ecosystem.
  • Background selling AI/ML solutions, cloud services, or developer-focused products.
  • Existing relationships with venture capital firms or startup accelerators in San Francisco.
  • Experience working within early-stage startups.
