Account Executive 3, Enterprise Direct Sales - Strategy

Responsibilities

• Drive sales strategy for high-capacity Ethernet, Internet, Video, and Voice services targeting Government, Education, and Medical (G.E.M.) institutions and complex enterprise customers
• Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations to strategic prospective clients to exceed financial and unit targets
• Develop territory strategies, including identifying strategic partnerships and cultivating local organizational affiliations
• Generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, and customer referrals
• Maintain and build strong customer relationships to ensure high retention rates and a superior customer experience
• Manage accurate sales records and prepare regular activity reports
• Stay informed on the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Comcast Business Services

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales or account management
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of Network Design and MAN technologies (including DSx, OC-x, WDM, and Ethernet)
• Proficiency in Internet Technologies, VoIP, and Data Networking (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN)
• Understanding of Networking Protocols (emphasis on Layers 1, 2, and 3)
• Knowledge of Customer Premise Equipment and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
