Account Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support customer engagements by presenting Snowflake’s technology and vision to technical and business audiences
• Collaborate with customers to plan and execute technical evaluations and proof-of-concept demonstrations
• Partner with customers and technical champions to foster trust and long-term success
• Develop technical expertise through tailored demos, hands-on labs, and industry research
• Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and the partner ecosystem to ensure customer value

Requirements

• Foundational experience in a technical role such as solution engineering, solutions architecture, or software development
• Experience in SaaS, data analytics, or cloud technology preferred
• Basic familiarity with SQL and/or Python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a customer-centric mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern data technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, or BigQuery
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling, Spark, containers, DevOps, or orchestration tools
• Understanding of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with data science, machine learning workflows, or governance tools
