Account Director

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication and relationship building.
• Oversee a team managing account initiatives, including junior team members and internal workflows.
• Deliver channel strategies and tactics for specific product launches and social-first creative.
• Manage account profitability, including budgeting, scoping, burn reports, and revenue growth.
• Develop presentations, proposals, and staffing plans for new projects and business pitches.
• Track work progress and deliverables, ensuring all client jobs are delivered on time.
• Provide strategic marketing guidance and thought leadership to help clients meet business objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of account management experience, preferably within an advertising agency.
• Proven expertise in social media content strategy and execution.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
• Strong financial literacy with experience managing multiple budgets and agency financial systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interfacing with senior-level professionals.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack; baseline knowledge of AI tools.
• Experience with scoping, timeline creation, and project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Asana.
• Experience with influencer/creator marketing and brand experience playbooks.
