Account Director, Startups

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of startup accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans.
• Partner with solutions architects to drive successful technical engagements and accelerate product development.
• Own and manage consumption revenue targets and forecasts.
• Analyze key account metrics to provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams.
• Serve as a customer advocate by synthesizing product feedback to improve the startup experience.
• Monitor the industry and startup landscape to contribute to corporate strategies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience selling Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), cloud, or API products.
• Proven experience working within the startup ecosystem (as a founder, employee, or partner).
• Experience working directly with C-level executives and startup founders.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience supporting the growth and product development of high-performance companies.

• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan for long-term growth.
• Experience building systems and processes from the ground up in a scaling environment.
