Account Director in Training

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across assigned custodial and facilities contracts
• Develop and execute operational strategies to drive service excellence and profitability
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop high-performing operational teams
• Manage employee performance through coaching and progressive discipline
• Maintain full accountability for financial performance, including revenue targets and P&L
• Develop, manage, and forecast operational budgets
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and quality audits
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders

Requirements

• Must reside in or close to the Petawawa area
• Willingness to travel to multiple accounts in the region during rotations
• Ability to relocate if needed
• Successful completion of a criminal record check and Reliability Security Check
• Valid G driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Minimum three years of management experience in facilities services or janitorial operations
• Experience managing labour relations, including unionized accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or Operations Management
• Experience managing operational service contracts in government or public sector environments
• Experience using mobile or hand-held technology for operational reporting
