Account Director In Training

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across custodial and facilities contracts to ensure alignment with client expectations
• Develop and execute operational strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop high-performing operational teams
• Manage full P&L accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients to ensure contract retention
• Conduct regular site visits and quality audits to ensure compliance with service standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental management systems

Requirements

• Must reside in Western Canada and be willing to travel across the region
• Must be willing to relocate if needed
• Minimum three years of management experience in facilities services or janitorial operations
• Proven experience in recruiting, training, and managing employee performance
• Experience managing labour relations, including unionized accounts
• Valid G driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and Reliability Security Check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or Operations Management
• Experience managing operational service contracts in government or public sector environments
