Account Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee Account Services for assigned client groups and manage the financial and operational performance of retainers
• Drive program success, efficiency, and client satisfaction by managing account margins and growth
• Lead and manage staff, providing direction and support within a matrix organization
• Interact regularly with clients regarding Scope of Work, retainer management, invoicing, and problem-solving
• Serve as the internal contact for reporting needs and ensure team compliance with brand guidelines and processes
• Oversee estimating for fabrication and service projects, including reviewing complex estimates
• Ensure high-quality show site event delivery and oversee the overall fabrication process

Requirements

• 10+ years of agency or industry-related experience
• 6+ years of progressively increasing client management responsibility
• 4-year college degree (Marketing, Advertising, Event Management, Business, or related field preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with estimating fabrication and service projects
• Understanding of fabrication processes and the ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Executive MBA degree
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
• Deep understanding of job cost drivers, mark-ups, and margin analysis
