Account Director – Financial Services (FSI), Australia and New Zealand

Responsibilities

• Own and drive revenue growth across a strategic portfolio of FSI accounts, including banks, insurers, and fintechs in ANZ.
• Develop and execute multi-year account plans aligned with Proofpoint’s platform strategy.
• Identify, qualify, and close large, complex, multi-product enterprise deals.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-level stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, and CROs.
• Generate net-new opportunities through proactive prospecting and leveraging an existing industry network.
• Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, procurement processes, and regulatory considerations.
• Coordinate internal resources, including Sales Engineers, product, and legal teams, to drive deal closure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or consulting.
• Proven track record of closing high-value, complex deals (7-figure+).
• Deep domain expertise in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) landscape and regulatory environments.
• Existing network of senior relationships within the ANZ FSI sector.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, risk, and compliance technologies.
• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence at the C-suite level.
• Ability to operate autonomously and ramp quickly to impact pipeline and revenue.
