About the role
Responsibilities
- Respond to routine client inquiries and maintain documentation of communications and issue resolutions
- Review and process insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy of coverage and form completion
- Assist in the benefits renewal process by gathering enrollment, volume, and benefit summary reports
- Prepare written correspondence and conduct telephone calls to underwriters as requested
- Help produce employee communications such as newsletters, bulletins, and presentations
- Execute requested changes on policies and assist with financial reporting for renewals
- Enter data into management systems and audit for accuracy, completeness, and conformity to procedures
- Issue and process client invoicing and assist in researching billing errors
- Maintain and update carrier product information and client records
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Up to three years of client services experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
