Accessioning Team Runner

Responsibilities

• Sort and transport packages from the shipping dock to the Accessioning laboratory
• Pick up packages from the receptionist’s desk and scan tracking numbers into Google spreadsheets
• Distribute packages to Clinical Data Operators following distribution guidelines
• Rack bulk samples and verify that paperwork matches the samples
• Escalate discrepancies and packaging issues to Leads or Supervisor
• Empty bins and biohazard cans, scan bench worksheets, and maintain tidy workstations
• Store and dispose of requisition forms according to retention policies
• Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy and compliance training within 30 days of hire

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous computer experience
• Familiar with Google documents
• Ability to perform basic calculations
• Organized and self-motivated with ability to work quickly and efficiently
