About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and comprehensive notetaking for students with approved academic accommodations
  • Support the Accessibility Services department in ensuring academic equity
  • Maintain a consistent schedule based on the needs of the student receiving services and their specific class schedule

Requirements

  • Must be a current University of La Verne student
  • Must be eligible for Federal Work Study (FWS)
  • Strong listening skills to capture key lecture points
  • Ability to write legibly and organize information clearly
  • Dependable and punctual regarding class schedules

Benefits

  • Hourly pay rate of $16.90
  • One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked (accrual limits apply)
