About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and comprehensive notetaking for students with approved academic accommodations
- Support the Accessibility Services department in ensuring academic equity
- Maintain a consistent schedule based on the needs of the student receiving services and their specific class schedule
Requirements
- Must be a current University of La Verne student
- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study (FWS)
- Strong listening skills to capture key lecture points
- Ability to write legibly and organize information clearly
- Dependable and punctual regarding class schedules
Benefits
- Hourly pay rate of $16.90
- One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked (accrual limits apply)
