Academic Tutor

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the Ontario curriculum
• Offer supplemental assignments to deepen understanding of material
• Deliver remedial or enrichment support tailored to student needs
• Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to track student progress

Requirements

• Energetic and enthusiastic with teaching experience
• Committed to providing exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must meet at least one of the following: Registered with Ontario College of Teachers, certified in another Canadian province/territory, certified in the US, currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education program, or experience as a lecturer/instructor at an accredited Canadian college or university
