About the Company

Prep Academy Tutors provides private in-home tutoring, delivering flexible and personalized programs to students aged four to twenty. We specialize in all subject areas and hire certified teachers or education students to ensure high-quality academic support.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students based on expertise and Northwest Territories curriculum
• Provide supplemental assignments to promote greater understanding of material
• Provide remedial and enrichment support for students
• Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress

Requirements

• Energetic and enthusiastic teaching experience
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to work effectively with students and families
• Strong communication skills
• Must meet at least one of the following: registration with NWT Teachers Association, qualification to teach in another Canadian Province/Territory or the US, current pursuit of a Bachelor of Education, or experience as a lecturer/instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College
