Academic Surgical Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical sign-out duties specializing in Thoracic and/or Bone and Soft Tissue pathology
• Participate in resident training activities and clinical conferences
• Engage in scholarship through intradepartmental and interdepartmental research opportunities
• Contribute to the academic mission as a member of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College teaching faculty

Requirements

• Board certification in Pathology
• Subspecialty fellowship training or significant experience in Thoracic pathology or Bone and Soft Tissue pathology
• Valid medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• Ability to work in an academic setting within the Clinical Scholar or Clinical Educator tracks

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional training or interest in ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) pathology
• Additional training or interest in GU (Genitourinary) pathology
