Academic Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage administrative processes for course development, catalogue entries, and course profiles.
• Provide secretariat support and policy advice to committees, ensuring actions and decisions are implemented.
• Apply University policies and standards to deliver accurate advice and compliant outcomes.
• Support program and course reviews through data collection and analysis of grade trends and course statistics.
• Contribute to student engagement and retention via face-to-face interaction, email, and phone support.
• Drive business improvement initiatives and work practice changes to enhance academic administration.

Requirements

• Associate Diploma with at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving ability and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
