Academic Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage administrative processes for course development, catalogue entries, and course profiles
• Provide secretariat support and policy advice to committees, ensuring actions and decisions are implemented
• Apply University policies and standards to deliver accurate advice and compliant outcomes
• Support program and course reviews through data collection and analysis of grade trends and course statistics
• Contribute to student engagement and retention via face-to-face, email, and phone communication
• Drive business improvement initiatives and work practice changes to enhance academic administration

Requirements

• Associate Diploma with at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• High level of attention-to-detail and strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated high-level organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate solutions effectively
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
