About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct in-person support to faculty, students, and administrative staff.
- Perform general office functions including data entry, filing, supply ordering, and invoice management.
- Confidentially manage detailed testing schedules, exam procedures, and the tracking of testing materials.
- Coordinate alternative testing processes and procedures for students.
- Assist with the setup, check-out, and training of assistive technology for students registered with Access & Disability Services (ADS).
- Support the Peer Educator program by assisting with scheduling and time-clock processes.
- Assist with campus communications for ADS and Academic Coaching & Enrichment (ACE) events.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- At least 3 years of experience in disability services, higher education, counseling, special education, psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity software (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Adobe).
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion in accordance with FERPA and ADAA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in higher education or a complex organizational environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
